we always hear them say "nothing ever promised tomorrow today"….errr wrong quote lets do dis again….we always hear them say "bulan ramadhan bulan mulia…bulan berpuasa menahan lapar dan dahaga…setinggi2 puasa ialah beribadah, bersabar dan menahan pandangan mata dari perkara2 yg boleh membatalkan puasa" dis year me and my mates had this ‘ramadhan project’ where we plan to sell some juadah for berbuka…and boy was it a great experience….we learnt that money earned is much sweeter than money ‘powed’ from ur parents…hehehe although selling is the most important part of business, it is a trait which doesnt come naturally preperation and setting up for business was already tiring…we had to carry the kueh from myfriends moms cafeteria in bangi and bring it all the way to bazar…load the car with the table..ice box and the necessary bekas…by the time we reach bazar we dah already ‘pancit kempis’… we start the day with the usual line…"kuehhhhhh…..kuehhhh…bubur ada creme caramel ada….macam2 ada" and we would go on yelling like nobodys business under the hot sun… by then our throats would feel dry and thirsty….nak jerit panggil orang pun tak larat….1st time in my life where i really felt the ‘penangan’ of berpuasa (sebelum ni puasa kalu duduk rumah layan air-cond) so when people dont stop to look at our kueh-mueh, we started to get pissed….hilang pahala puasa….then comes a few other cobaan….hot girls would walk pass our gerai in skimpy outfits, where they look more or less like pit girls for an F1 race…nabi kata kalau terpandang sekali rezeki…pandang dua kali rugi….but in our case we terpandang sekali rezeki…then pandangan2 seterusnya jadi rezeki bergolek-golek….ish ish hilang lagi pahala puasa…. it’s a good thing i’ve trained myself to beribadah a little for this month(not like im a good person….but i try) so ada la backup jugak….at the end of the day i would think to myself…how beautiful God has created His religion…Islam to be practiced in our daily lives and how it could make us better people…and during this beautiful month i will try my best to be a better person, if tak banyak sikit pun jadi la…
